Yes. Both the viewneo SignageBox and the SignageStick can connect via a wired LAN connection. The SignageBox has a built-in LAN port. Use a wired connection when WiFi is unavailable or unreliable.

What happens if the internet connection is lost?

The screen will not turn black. The player saves the most recently synced content locally and continues to play it offline. However, web-based content (social media feeds, websites, news) requires an active internet connection to display.

The player checks for new content every 15 minutes by default. This interval can be changed in the Advanced Settings for each device.

Yes. viewneo supports video walls. You can use the Screen Sync Plugin to synchronize content across multiple displays.

How many devices can I control with one license?

Each device license covers one device. However, the license is not tied to a specific hardware unit — you can reassign it to a different player at any time.

If the viewneo logo suddenly appears in the upper-right corner, your device license has expired. Renew your license in Settings > My Subscription to remove it.

Black flashes appear between content items

Brief black flashes when switching between content can sometimes occur. To minimize this:

  1. Open the player menu (tap the lock icon in the top-right corner)
  2. Access settings (click and hold the viewneo logo in the top-left corner)
  3. Adjust the transition settings

Plugins extend viewneo with additional features. Activate them via the puzzle icon in the bottom-left corner of the CMS. Each plugin is billed per screen per month. See Plugins Overview and Plans & Subscriptions for details.

What do the colors next to device names mean?

Device status colors indicate the connection state:

On the viewneo SignageBox:

  1. Press the Menu button on the remote control to access the player menu
