Using Media Files
You can insert images, videos, and websites from your viewneo content library into the Content Designer.
Adding Media Files
Section titled “Adding Media Files”- Click the + icon in the left panel or right-click on the stage
- Select Media file from the object menu
- The content browser opens — navigate to and double-click the desired file
- The media file appears on the stage
Positioning and Resizing
Section titled “Positioning and Resizing”Media files can be positioned and resized just like any other object:
- Move — Click and drag the media object to reposition it
- Resize — Drag the corner handles to change the size
- Rotate — Use the anchor on the upper object frame to rotate freely
- Precise values — Enter exact pixel values in the Properties panel
Layering
Section titled “Layering”When a new media file (e.g., a video) is added, it may overlay existing objects. To adjust the stacking order:
- Go to the Object List in the left panel
- Drag the media object to the desired position in the layer order
- Objects at the top of the list appear in front of objects below
Preview
Section titled “Preview”Click Preview to see how your design looks with the media files in place.
Important Notes
Section titled “Important Notes”- Editing a slide that is already used in playlists will automatically update it everywhere
- To keep the original version unchanged, duplicate the slide first and edit the copy
- Videos play within the slide duration — if the video is longer than the slide, it will be cut off
