Slides & Templates
With viewneo, you can create custom content using slides and templates in the built-in Content Designer. Both can contain text, images, videos, websites, and shapes.
What Are Slides and Templates?
Section titled “What Are Slides and Templates?”- Slides are individual content designs that can be added to playlists
- Templates are reusable designs with placeholders that can generate multiple slides with different content

Creating a Slide or Template
Section titled “Creating a Slide or Template”- Go to Content in the CMS
- Click Add and select Create Slide (or Create Template if the Template Plugin is active)
- Enter a name for the slide
- Select a device group to automatically set the correct resolution, or enter custom dimensions manually
- Click Create to open the Content Designer
What You Can Add
Section titled “What You Can Add”Slides and templates support the following elements:
- Text — Static or dynamic text, including RSS/XML data
- Media files — Images, videos, and websites from your media library
- Shapes — Rectangles, squares, and circles
- Pixabay — Free stock images and videos
- Audio — Background music or sound effects
Using Free Content
Section titled “Using Free Content”viewneo provides ready-made slides in the Free Content folder at the top level of your media library. You can use these as starting points:
- Copy them to your own folder and modify them
- Drag them directly into a playlist (you will be prompted to copy them first)
Editing a Slide
Section titled “Editing a Slide”Right-click any slide in the media library or in a playlist and select Edit to open it in the Content Designer.
