Video

You can upload video files to the viewneo media library and use them in playlists, slides, and templates.

Supported Formats

Note

All uploaded video files are automatically converted to MP4 (H.264) for optimal playback on the player. Videos that are already in optimized MP4 format remain unchanged.

Uploading Videos

Upload videos the same way as other files:

1. Drag and drop — Drag video files from your computer into the content area
2. Add button — Click Add and select Upload file
3. Right-click menu — Right-click in the content area and select Upload file

After uploading, the video is automatically processed and converted if necessary.

Managing Videos

Right-click any video to access these options:

• Rename — Change the display name
• Copy — Duplicate to another folder
• Delete — Remove from the media library

Using Videos

• In playlists — Drag a video into a playlist for full-screen playback
• In the Content Designer — Insert videos into slides and templates alongside other elements like text and images

Tip

For best results, upload videos in MP4 format with H.264 encoding at your target display resolution. This avoids re-encoding and ensures the highest quality playback.
