Zapier Integration

With the viewneo Zapier integration, you can connect viewneo to over 1,000 apps and automate your digital signage content. Zapier acts as a bridge between viewneo and external services like Google Calendar, WordPress, WooCommerce, Salesforce, and many more.

A Zap is an automated workflow in Zapier. Each Zap consists of:

  • Trigger — An event that starts the workflow (e.g., “it will rain today”)
  • Action — What happens in response (e.g., “switch to the umbrella advertising playlist”)

In viewneo, click the puzzle icon in the bottom-left corner and select Zapier. You will see pre-configured templates for common automation scenarios.

Step 2: Choose a Template or Create Custom

Select a pre-configured template (e.g., weather-based playlist switching) or create a custom Zap from scratch on the Zapier website.

Choose the trigger app and event. For example:

  • App: Weather by Zapier
  • Event: Will it rain today?
  • Location: Enter your location

Choose viewneo as the action app:

  • Action: Change playlist
  • Account: Connect your viewneo account (authorize via OAuth)
  • Device Group: Select the target device group
  • Playlist: Select the playlist to switch to

Test the Zap and turn it on. The automation runs in the background — when the trigger condition is met, the action executes automatically.
