SAML SSO

viewneo Enterprise supports SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to log in with their existing corporate identity provider (IdP) instead of a separate viewneo password.

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a standard for exchanging authentication data between an identity provider (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace) and a service provider (viewneo). With SSO enabled, users authenticate through your company’s IdP and are automatically logged in to viewneo.

  • Single login — Users sign in once and access viewneo without a separate password
  • Centralized user management — Add and remove users through your IdP
  • Enhanced security — Leverage your organization’s existing authentication policies (MFA, password policies, etc.)
  • An active viewneo Enterprise subscription
  • A SAML 2.0-compatible identity provider (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace, ADFS)

SAML SSO configuration requires exchanging metadata between your identity provider and viewneo:

  1. From viewneo — Obtain the Service Provider metadata (Entity ID, ACS URL) from your Enterprise account settings
  2. In your IdP — Create a new SAML application and enter the viewneo metadata
  3. From your IdP — Copy the IdP metadata (Entity ID, SSO URL, Certificate) back into the viewneo SAML settings
  4. Test — Verify the SSO login flow works correctly before rolling it out

viewneo supports any SAML 2.0-compatible identity provider, including:

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory
  • Okta
  • Google Workspace
  • Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
  • OneLogin
  • Auth0
