SAML SSO
viewneo Enterprise supports SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to log in with their existing corporate identity provider (IdP) instead of a separate viewneo password.
What is SAML SSO?
Section titled “What is SAML SSO?”SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is a standard for exchanging authentication data between an identity provider (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace) and a service provider (viewneo). With SSO enabled, users authenticate through your company’s IdP and are automatically logged in to viewneo.
Benefits

- Centralized user management — Add and remove users through your IdP
- Enhanced security — Leverage your organization’s existing authentication policies (MFA, password policies, etc.)
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- An active viewneo Enterprise subscription
- A SAML 2.0-compatible identity provider (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace, ADFS)
Configuration
Section titled “Configuration”SAML SSO configuration requires exchanging metadata between your identity provider and viewneo:

- In your IdP — Create a new SAML application and enter the viewneo metadata
- From your IdP — Copy the IdP metadata (Entity ID, SSO URL, Certificate) back into the viewneo SAML settings
