Sharing Playlists
Enterprise accounts can share playlists with sub-accounts, either as read-only or with full editing permissions.
Sharing a Playlist
Section titled “Sharing a Playlist”- Go to Playlists in the left navigation
- Right-click the playlist you want to share
- Select Share
- A dialog box appears with three options:
- Do not share — Revoke sharing
- All accounts — Share with every sub-account
- Choose accounts — Share with specific sub-accounts or labels
- Optionally enable Can be edited to grant write access
- Click Save
Shared playlists display a sharing icon (three people) in the playlist list.
Permission Levels
Section titled “Permission Levels”| Permission | Description |
|---|---|
| Read-only | Sub-accounts can use the playlist but cannot modify it |
| Read and write | Sub-accounts can add, remove, and reorder content in the playlist |
Sharing with Specific Sub-Accounts
Section titled “Sharing with Specific Sub-Accounts”When selecting Choose accounts:
- Select individual sub-accounts or labels from the list on the left
- Click + to add them
- Optionally enable Can be edited
- Click Save
Accepting a Shared Playlist
Section titled “Accepting a Shared Playlist”Sub-account users receive a notification (bell icon in the top-right corner) when a playlist is shared with them. They must click the notification and confirm with Yes to accept the shared playlist.
