Multimedia Stele
Digital advertising steles (also known as multimedia steles) are freestanding enclosures with integrated screens for use in reception areas, stores, at trade shows, and in public spaces. This page describes how to use viewneo players in a stele.
Variants
Section titled “Variants”There are three basic variants:
- Without player — The stele contains only the screen. A viewneo player must be installed separately.
- With integrated player from the manufacturer — Some stele manufacturers include a built-in player. In this case, the viewneo Player App can be installed as an APK.
- With monitor with integrated player — Some screens (e.g., Philips D-Line) have a built-in Android player on which the viewneo Player App can be installed.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”Ventilation
Section titled “Ventilation”Screens in enclosed stele housings quickly generate high temperatures. The stele must have built-in ventilation:
- Top: Exhaust for warm air
- Bottom: Intake of cooler outside air via ventilation slots
Space for the Player
Section titled “Space for the Player”Sufficient space must be available for mounting the player. The player should be positioned in the lower area of the stele — below the screens.
