Reset

A soft reset restarts the viewneo Player App without deleting stored content or settings.

  1. Open the player menu and switch to the System tab
  2. Click Settings
  3. Select Backup & Reset
  4. Select Factory Data Reset
  5. Enable Erase SD Card and confirm with Reset Tablet
  6. Confirm with Erase Everything

If the SignageBox no longer starts correctly, only shows the boot logo, or becomes completely unresponsive, a hard reset can be performed using the physical reset button.

  1. Disconnect the power cable from the device
  2. Connect a USB keyboard and the HDMI cable
  3. On the rear panel, to the right of the S/PDIF port, there is a small reset hole. Insert the paperclip into the hole and hold the button down

  1. Continue holding the button while simultaneously connecting the power cable. Keep holding the button for a few more seconds after connecting

  1. The recovery menu appears on the screen. Select wipe data/factory reset

  1. Confirm with Yes — delete all user data

  1. After completion, the message Data wipe complete appears

  1. Select Reboot system now — the device restarts and is reset
