Installation

  1. Screw the WiFi antenna onto the antenna connector of the SignageBox
  2. Connect the SignageBox to your screen using an HDMI cable
  3. Plug in the power adapter — the SignageBox starts automatically

The SignageBox III requires an internet connection to receive content.

  • Ethernet (recommended): Connect a network cable to the RJ45 port. The connection is established automatically.
  • WiFi: Configure the WiFi network via the device settings (see the “Settings” section below).

After startup, the SignageBox displays a registration code on the screen.

  1. Log in at www.viewneo.com/login
  2. Navigate to Devices
  3. Click Add Device
  4. Enter the displayed registration code
  5. Click Save

The player connects to your account and begins downloading assigned content.

Alternatively, you can use the viewneo Companion App for setup. The app guides you step by step through the configuration.

  1. Install the viewneo Companion App on your smartphone
  2. Open the app and log in with your viewneo credentials
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the SignageBox III

To open the device settings, connect a USB mouse and click the screen multiple times until a lock icon appears in the upper-right corner. Click the lock icon to access the player menu.

  1. Open the Settings
  2. Select WiFi
  3. Enable WiFi and select your network from the list
  4. Enter the password and confirm with Connect

When a network cable is connected, the Ethernet connection is established automatically. For static IP addresses:

  1. Open the Settings
  2. Select Ethernet
  3. Change the connection type from DHCP to Static
  4. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server
  5. Confirm with Save

  2. Select Resolution
  3. Select the desired resolution from the list

The app menu shows all installed apps on the SignageBox. Typically, you only need the pre-installed viewneo Player App.
