Filters
Filters allow you to narrow down when a trigger should activate. Without filters, a trigger fires every time its condition is met. With filters, you can restrict triggers to specific content, content types, or time windows.
Available Filters
Section titled “Available Filters”Content
Section titled “Content”Restricts the trigger to a specific content item in the playlist. The trigger only fires when that particular item is involved.
Content Name
Section titled “Content Name”Restricts the trigger based on the name of the content. Useful for matching content by naming convention without selecting individual items.
Content Type
Section titled “Content Type”Limits the trigger to specific content formats:
- Video
- Image
- Template/Slide
- Website
Date and Time
Section titled “Date and Time”Restricts the trigger to a specific time window. You can combine two Date and Time filters to create a precise range (e.g., only between 9:00 and 17:00).
Linking Filters
Section titled “Linking Filters”Multiple filters can be connected using logical operators:
- AND — All filter conditions must be met for the trigger to fire
- OR — The trigger fires if any one of the filter conditions is met
This allows you to build complex conditions. For example:
- Trigger fires only for videos AND only on weekdays
- Trigger fires for content named “Promo” OR content named “Sale”

Section titled “Adding Filters”- Edit a playlist and open the Events tab
- Select or create a trigger
- Click Add Filter
- Choose the filter type and configure the condition
