Triggers
A trigger defines when an event should fire. Each trigger monitors a specific condition and activates the associated action when the condition is met.
Available Triggers
Section titled “Available Triggers”Content Start
Section titled “Content Start”Fires when a specific content item begins playing. Use this to synchronize actions with the start of a particular slide, video, or media file.

Content End
Section titled “Content End”Fires when a specific content item finishes playing. Use this to chain actions that should happen after a particular piece of content.
Available with: Smart Playlist, Screen Sync
Date and Time
Section titled “Date and Time”Fires at a specific date and time or on a recurring daily schedule. Use this for time-based automation — e.g., switching to a different content layout at 18:00 every day.
Available with: Smart Playlist
Fires when a user touches or clicks an element on the screen. This can apply to a specific template element or to the entire playlist content.

Combining Triggers with Filters
Section titled “Combining Triggers with Filters”Triggers can be refined using Filters to control exactly when they should activate. For example, a Content Start trigger can be filtered to fire only for video content, or only on weekdays.
