Basketball Plugin
The Basketball Plugin lets you display live NBA scores, standings, and game schedules directly on your digital signage screens — perfect for sports bars, fitness centers, or corporate lobbies.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- An active viewneo subscription that includes the Basketball Plugin
- At least one registered player
Creating Basketball Content
Section titled “Creating Basketball Content”Step 1: Open the Media Library
Section titled “Step 1: Open the Media Library”- Navigate to the Media Library in the sidebar
- Right-click in the content area to open the context menu
- Select Basketball from the list of content types
Step 2: Configure the Content
Section titled “Step 2: Configure the Content”The settings dialog offers the following options:

| Name | A name for the content for internal reference |
| View | Choose between Standings (current league table) or Games (upcoming and recent games) |
Step 3: Save and Add to Playlist
Section titled “Step 3: Save and Add to Playlist”- Click Save to create the basketball content
- The new content appears in your media library
- Add the content to a playlist as usual
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”Sports Bars & Restaurants
Section titled “Sports Bars & Restaurants”Display live scores and upcoming games on screens to keep patrons informed and engaged.
Fitness Centers
Section titled “Fitness Centers”Show current league standings and game schedules in common areas.
Corporate Lobbies
Section titled “Corporate Lobbies”Add sports content to lobby displays for a dynamic and engaging waiting experience.

Section titled “Which leagues are supported?”The Basketball Plugin currently supports the NBA. Support for additional leagues is planned for a future update.
Are scores updated in real-time?
Section titled “Are scores updated in real-time?”Scores are updated at regular intervals during live games. The update frequency depends on the data provider.
