Facebook Plugin
The Facebook Plugin displays Facebook feeds and posts directly on your digital signage screens — ideal for connecting your social media presence with your displays.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- An active viewneo subscription that includes the Facebook Plugin
- A Facebook account with access to the page you want to display
- At least one registered player
Creating a Facebook Content
Section titled “Creating a Facebook Content”Step 1: Open the Media Library
Section titled “Step 1: Open the Media Library”- Navigate to the Media Library in the sidebar
- Right-click in the content area to open the context menu
- Select Facebook from the list of content types
Step 2: Connect Your Facebook Account
Section titled “Step 2: Connect Your Facebook Account”Click Continue with Facebook to log in and authorize viewneo to access your Facebook pages. After successful authorization, the settings dialog appears.
Step 3: Configure Page and Layout
Section titled “Step 3: Configure Page and Layout”| Setting | Description |

| Facebook pages | Select the Facebook page whose content should be displayed |
| Layout | Choose the display format (e.g., Feed) |
Step 4: Save and Add to Playlist
Section titled “Step 4: Save and Add to Playlist”- Click Save to create the Facebook content
- The new content appears in your media library
- Add the content to a playlist as usual
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”Healthcare
Section titled “Healthcare”Display current announcements and event notices from your clinic’s Facebook page on screens in the waiting area.
Hospitality
Section titled “Hospitality”Present guest reviews and event announcements from your Facebook page on welcome screens in hotels or restaurants.
Public Sector
Section titled “Public Sector”Use the plugin to show news and community posts from your organization on info displays in government buildings or libraries.
Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”Does the plugin work with private Facebook profiles?
Section titled “Does the plugin work with private Facebook profiles?”No. The Facebook Plugin only supports public Facebook pages, not private profiles.
Are new posts displayed automatically?
Section titled “Are new posts displayed automatically?”Yes. New posts on the linked Facebook page are automatically updated on screens, as long as the player is connected to the internet.
