SharePoint Plugin

The SharePoint Plugin lets you display content from Microsoft SharePoint directly on your digital signage screens — ideal for showing internal documents, company news, and team announcements.

  • An active viewneo subscription that includes the SharePoint Plugin
  • A Microsoft 365 account with access to SharePoint Online
  • At least one registered player
  1. Navigate to the Media Library in the sidebar
  2. Right-click in the content area to open the context menu
  3. Select SharePoint from the list of content types

Click Authorize to log in to your Microsoft account and grant viewneo access to your SharePoint environment. After successful authorization, the settings dialog appears.

SharePoint plugin preview

  1. Click Create to create the SharePoint content
  2. The new content appears in your media library
  3. Add the content to a playlist as usual

Display company news, policy updates, or announcements from SharePoint on screens in common areas.

Show team-specific SharePoint pages on screens near department areas.

Present administrative documents and announcements on campus displays.

The plugin supports SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). On-premises SharePoint may work if the URL is accessible from the player’s network.

Are changes in SharePoint automatically updated?

Yes — the plugin fetches the latest content at regular intervals. Updates in SharePoint are reflected on screen automatically.
