Live View Plugin

The Live View Plugin lets you see directly in the viewneo CMS what content is currently being displayed on your players — without having to be on-site. Check your displays conveniently from your desk.

  • An active viewneo subscription that includes the Live View Plugin
  • At least one registered viewneo device
  • Reports must be enabled for the device (see setup below)

Before you can use Live View, Reports must be enabled for the desired device:

  1. Navigate to Devices in the sidebar
  2. Select the device group and then the device
  3. Open the Advanced Settings
  4. Switch to the Reports tab
  5. Enable the Reports function
  6. Click Save
  1. Navigate to Devices in the sidebar
  2. Right-click on the desired device
  3. Select Live View from the context menu

A preview window opens showing the current screen output of the player. You see the content that is currently being played on the display.

Check displays in remote branches without having to travel on-site — e.g., whether current campaigns are being displayed correctly.

Verify from headquarters whether promotional displays in all stores are playing the correct content.

Check info displays on campus from the administration office to ensure timetables and announcements are displayed correctly.

Live View shows a current snapshot of the screen output. It is not a continuous video stream.

Can I use Live View for multiple devices simultaneously?

You can open Live View for each device individually by right-clicking on the respective device.

Make sure Reports are enabled for the device in question. Without enabled Reports, the Live View function is not available.
