Multiframe Plugin
The Multiframe Plugin lets you divide a single display into multiple independent content zones. Each zone plays its own playlist, allowing you to show different content simultaneously on one screen.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- An active viewneo subscription that includes the Multiframe Plugin
- At least one registered player
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”With Multiframe, you define a layout that splits the screen into zones. Each zone is assigned its own playlist. The player renders all zones simultaneously, so different content plays in each area of the screen at the same time.
Setting Up Multiframe
Section titled “Setting Up Multiframe”Step 1: Configure the Layout
Section titled “Step 1: Configure the Layout”- Go to Devices and select a device group
- Open the Multiframe settings
- Define the number and arrangement of zones (e.g., 2 columns, main area + sidebar)
- Set the position and size of each zone in pixels or percentages
Step 2: Assign Playlists
Section titled “Step 2: Assign Playlists”Assign a separate playlist to each zone. Each zone plays its playlist independently of the others.
Step 3: Save and Sync
Section titled “Step 3: Save and Sync”Save the configuration. The player downloads the new layout and begins displaying multiple zones on the next sync.
Common Layouts
Section titled “Common Layouts”| Layout | Description |
