Template Plugin
The Template Plugin lets you create slide templates from which you can generate any number of content items. Changes to the template affect all slides based on it — in just one step.

Creating a Template
Section titled “Creating a Template”After activating the plugin, two new menu items are available in the media library: Create Template and Create from Template.
Step 1: Create a New Template
Section titled “Step 1: Create a New Template”- Navigate to the Media Library in the sidebar
- Right-click in the content area
- Select Create Template
Step 2: Design the Template
Section titled “Step 2: Design the Template”Creating a template works like creating a regular slide — with one important addition:
For each element (e.g., text field, image), you can enable or disable the Can be edited option:

Step 3: Save the Template
Section titled “Step 3: Save the Template”Click Save. The template is now available in the media library.
Creating a Slide from a Template
Section titled “Creating a Slide from a Template”Step 1: Choose a Template as Base
Section titled “Step 1: Choose a Template as Base”- Right-click in the media library
- Select Create from Template
- Choose the desired template as the base
Step 2: Customize Editable Elements
Section titled “Step 2: Customize Editable Elements”In the new slide, you can only edit elements that were marked as Can be edited in the template. All other elements are locked and retain the template’s design.
Step 3: Save and Use
Section titled “Step 3: Save and Use”Click Save. The slide can then be added to a playlist like any other content item.
Use Cases
Section titled “Use Cases”Franchise Systems
Section titled “Franchise Systems”Headquarters creates a template with fixed corporate design (logo, colors, layout). Franchisees can only change the editable fields — e.g., product names, prices, and local offers.
Retail
Section titled “Retail”Create an offer template with a uniform design. For each store, a slide with the respective products and prices is generated — quickly and consistently.
Healthcare
Section titled “Healthcare”Use templates for standardized information displays (e.g., office hours, department info), where only the respective data is customized per location.

Can I change which elements are editable after the fact?
