User Roles
viewneo supports multiple users on a single account, each with their own role and access rights.
Available Roles
Section titled “Available Roles”Super User
Section titled “Super User”The user who first registers and creates the viewneo account automatically becomes the Super User. This is the highest access level with full control over all features, settings, and other users.
The Super User can:
- Access all CMS features without restrictions
- Add, edit, and remove other users
- Manage all content, playlists, devices, and plugins
- Change account settings and subscriptions
Every user subsequently added by the Super User receives the User role. Users have configurable permissions — the Super User defines exactly which areas each user can access and whether they have read-only or read-write access.
Permission Levels
Section titled “Permission Levels”Each CMS area can be configured with one of three access levels per user:

|---|---|
| No access | The user cannot see this area at all |
| Read | The user can view content but cannot make changes |
| Write | The user can view and edit content |
