With contboxx you get ready-made content for your screens that updates itself: AI news from around 40 channels, weather, football from 32 leagues, the NBA, departure boards for railway stations, stops and airports, pollen counts, the traffic situation on the German Autobahns and games for touch screens.
contboxx applies to your whole account: you book it once and use it on all players – without assigning it to individual devices. What counts are the requests per day, no matter on how many screens.

Prices are net, a flat rate for the whole account. With Free you get news, industry mix and weather; football, basketball, traffic, pollen, departures and games are available from Starter. An account without a subscription can also book contboxx Free.

Book contboxx
Section titled “Book contboxx”-
Open Plugins. contboxx is in the Account-Wide group – it applies to your whole account.

Click Book (or Manage if contboxx is already active), switch on Activate contboxx and choose a package – and, if you like, a dpa add-on.

Confirm with Save. A package change takes effect immediately; the difference is charged pro rata.
Create content
Section titled “Create content”-
Open the Media library and click Add › Apps › contboxx.

Under Type, choose what the content should show and set it up (see below). Types that your package does not include are listed with the note Not in your package.

Click Save. The Name is optional – if you leave it empty, the content is named after its channel, league or location.
The content appears as a tile in the media library; add it to a playlist like any other content. You can change it via the context menu › Edit. The preview in the CMS does not count against your requests – only the display on the player does.
What you can set

The preview images in the window are real output from contboxx. The format adapts to the screen by itself – landscape and portrait.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Requests: Every display on a player counts as one request, in Stream mode every item shown. Once the daily quota is used up, the screen shows a calm surface instead of an error message until the next day.
- Package changed: Content that your new package does not include stays in the media library but no longer shows anything until you book a matching package again.
- Locations and stations are created directly in the window. How many you may have is shown in the table above; the window shows how many you already use. If you delete a location, the window first lists the content that uses it.
- Deleting a tile also deletes the content at contboxx.
- The window takes on your account’s colours, also with White Label.
