Both the viewneo 4K SignageBox and the SignageStick 2 can be used without a WiFi connection. For example, if the WiFi at a particular location is too weak, the players can be connected to a hard-wired network.
The viewneo 4K SignageBox has a port for a LAN connection to enable an easy connection.
In order to connect the viewneo SignageStick to a network cable, a USB-to-RJ45 Ethernet adapter is required.
Without internet, the viewneo players can not be used. Although a one-time internet connection is sufficient for synchronization, web-based content (Facebook, news, weather etc.) can not be displayed without a permanent internet connection.
