What happens if the Internet connection is lost?

The player will still play the most recently synced content.

If the internet connection to a player is lost, the screen will not turn black. Instead, the player saves the most recently synchronized content locally and plays it back. Web-based content, such as social media pages, news feeds, weather; however, can't be played when there is no internet connection.

One way to tell if your device has lost its internet connection is to look for the red status indicator next to the device which will appear.
